Chris Kluwe, Thank You!

My brother sent me this link.  You must read it.  It's the best and the freshest letter I've ever read that dismantles anti-gay logic. Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe is coming out against Maryland lawmaker Emmett C. Burns, who this week urged Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti to silence Baltimore Ravens player Brendon Ayanbadejo from speaking his mind on gay rights.

One of my favorite parts of Kluwe's colorful letter:

"I can assure you that gay people getting married will have zero effect on your life. They won't come into your house and steal your children. They won't magically turn you into a lustful cockmonster. They won't even overthrow the government in an orgy of hedonistic debauchery because all of a sudden they have the same legal rights as the other 90 percent of our population, rights like Social Security benefits, childcare tax credits, family and medical leave to take care of loved ones, and COBRA health care for spouses and children."

Chris Kluwe, I am a gay man building a life with the love of my life, and I want to have the freedom to marry him.  Thank you so much for standing up for the minority class (gay Americans).  It's people like you that give me hope that "one day" we will no longer be categorized as "less than" in the eyes of society.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
