This weekend we planted two more Natchez Crepe Myrtles in front of the house and one "Pawnee" pecan tree in the front yard. Natchez Crepe Myrtles bloom white- and my goal is to only plant things that bloom white in the front yard. The pecan tree will live for a hundred years and produce food! My husband's mother calls it a pie starter. I picked out the Pawnee pecan tree because I like the word Pawnee.
