Mark forgot about Jesus?!

Did you read the news yesterday about the British government putting the Codex Sinaiticus, the world's oldest Bible online?

"Codex Sinaiticus is one of the most important books in the world. Handwritten well over 1600 years ago, the manuscript contains the Christian Bible in Greek, including the oldest complete copy of the New Testament. Its heavily corrected text is of outstanding importance for the history of the Bible and the manuscript – the oldest substantial book to survive Antiquity – is of supreme importance for the history of the book."

Why wasn't this a bigger news story? I've been looking at the pages online and it's very interesting and makes me wish I read Greek.

According to Wikipedia, in this Bible the book of Mark does not include the passages about Jesus' resurrection?! In fact, the phrase "Son of God" is not included in Mark?! I am so confused. Why are we not talking about this? I guess I'll have to wait for the English translation before I can confirm these findings, but what does that mean? Why did Mark forget about Jesus?
